Hybrid Learning Model
Our hybrid learning model combines online coursework (watch it live or catch up with the recording) and in-person sessions to deliver both flexibility and rigor. This structure allows participants to build knowledge remotely while ensuring professional standards are upheld through on-site teach backs and evaluations.
Get certified in 5 sessions
Our certification program is a five-session pathway for building strong fundamentals in mat Pilates instruction. Participants progress through a structured curriculum that emphasizes Pilates principles, history, anatomy, cueing, and class design.
Session 1: Coursework from manual
Session 2: Learning exercises
Session 3: Learning exercises & Design your class
Session 4: Teach your class to the group for feedback
Session 5: Teach your class for a score (physical assessment) and take a test on coursework (written assessment)
Students must earn 80% or higher on assessments to earn their certification

FAQ
Do I need to attend all of the sessions?
Yes, you need to attend the 3 virtual sessions (or watch the recordings) and 2 in-person sessions to receive your certification.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are 4 hours each. Don't worry, we take breaks!
What topics do you cover?
Our curriculum includes history of Pilates, the six principles, anatomy, breath work, alignment, teaching methodology, 40-exercise repertoire, and the art of class design. You can read all about our Mat Foundations Certification here.
When will I receive my certification?
Certifications are awarded to students who pass the practical and written exams (with an 80% or higher) at the final in-person session.
Can I use my certification anywhere?
Yes! Our certifications enable you to teach Pilates classes anywhere. However, some studios require their own teacher training or a specific certification.
